Legal Aid ACT may disclose your personal information to third parties for the following purposes:

• To provide the service you wish to use
• If permitted or required by law
• For research purposes relating to the use of the education resources provided to you in order to improve performance, quality and maintenance of the service
• Otherwise with your consent

2. Disclosure of information to third parties

Legal Aid ACT reports to the Legal Services Commission of South Australia to whom this project is credited. Legal Aid ACT provides information to the Legal Services Commission for statistical reporting purposes only that relate to the uptake of this educational campaign.

3. Accessing your personal information

You have the right to request access to personal information that is held by Legal Aid ACT about you. Requests for access will be dealt with by the Legal Aid ACT in accordance with the Freedom of Information Act 1982.

You also have the right to request the correction of any of your personal information that Legal Aid ACT holds. Legal Aid ACT will take reasonable steps to make appropriate corrections to personal information so that it is accurate, complete and up-to-date.
